Transparent fees. No surprises.
Legacy Guided believes in complete transparency around fees from the very first conversation. The appropriate fee structure for each engagement is discussed during the initial consultation and outlined in a written engagement agreement before any work begins. All fees are consistent with California professional fiduciary standards.

- 3.0% of the next $100,000
- 2.0% of the next $800,000
- 1.0% of the next $9,000,000
- 0.5% of the next $15,000,000

Fees are computed on a base comprised of gross assets, plus receipts and gains, less losses. Probate fees are governed by California law and will be outlined in full in your engagement agreement.
A NOTE ON EXTRAORDINARY SERVICES
For complex probate matters requiring services beyond routine administration such as real property sales, litigation, or tax issues additional compensation may be requested and is subject to court review and approval. This will always be discussed transparently before any additional fees are incurred.
How It Works
A clear, guided process
from first call to full engagement.
Every Legacy Guided engagement begins with a conversation — and proceeds only when both parties are confident it's the right fit. Here's what to expect:
01
Complimentary Consultation — 30 Minutes
A confidential, no-obligation conversation to understand your situation, answer your questions, and determine whether Legacy Guided is the right fit. This can take place in person, by phone, or via video — wherever is most convenient for you.
02
Engagement Agreement
If both parties agree to move forward, a written engagement agreement is prepared outlining the scope of services, applicable fee structure, and billing terms. No work begins until this agreement is signed by all parties.
03
Onboarding
Legacy Guided conducts a thorough review and organization of all relevant financial accounts, legal documents, asset records, and estate planning documents. This is the foundation of every successful engagement — and where the one-time onboarding fee is applied.
04
Active Management & Reporting
Ongoing fiduciary services commence according to the agreed scope — with regular reporting, transparent accounting, and consistent communication with clients, beneficiaries, and professional advisors throughout the engagement.
05
Billing
Invoices are issued monthly or quarterly depending on the engagement type, with a full itemized summary of services rendered, any surplus hours, and reimbursable expenses. Payment is due within 30 days of the invoice date.
